  1. Great idea. I saw a nearby school make some radical technology changes and where struggling with their staff getting on the ball about using it. So the school simply removed chalkboards, overheads, etc... and replaced them with smartboards and projectors. at first it was met with extreme resistance but after about sixweeks it proved to be a wise move because it improved teacher time effectiveness, communication, etc... I think your plan has great relevance.Ilike your time line as well. You may try to find a link between technology use and improved student learning. I think that would make your concept much stronger.

  2. Great plan. I would suggest that you utilize the teachers who attended the staff development. Allow them to do classroom observations of the technology in action. These teachers will get the added benefit of learning through doing and observing others strategies. Those who went through the training together will have a bond of trust which will allow them to critic one another and offer advice and praise. More than an administrator who may or may not have attended the training. It will take some planning to allow teachers to observe each other but I believe the team building and trust would be worth the effort.
